This chemical equation balancer can help you check whether the equation is balanced or not, you may edit the equation and check it's balance, but it cannot balance an unbalanced equation.

  • The balancer is case sensitive, you must use the upper case for the first character in the element name and the lower case for the second character.
  • Chemical formula with electrons can be represented by {-},{+},{2+},{2-} etc.

    Following are some example equations:
    1. H2 + O2 = H2O
    2. 2H2 + O2 = 2H2O
    3. Cu{2+} + OH{-} = Cu(OH)2
    4. Cu{2+} + 2OH{-} = Cu(OH)2
